Literature Text

Day One: An unsuspecting group of humans has picked me up today; they seem quite happy.

Day Two: They seem to have these other filthy animals called “dogs”. So far, those beasts have not noticed that I’m not one of them.

Day Nine: The “dogs” still do not suspect anything.

Day Thirteen: One of the “dogs” has ‘unexpectedly’ gone missing. Purfect.

Day Eighteen: All of the “dogs” have gone missing. The humans still do not suspect anything.

Day Nineteen: Some creatures from space have contacted me; soon it shall be time.

Day Twenty: One of the small humans has gained my claw marks all over its arm. It just smiled and laughed. They still do not suspect anything; perfect.

Day Twenty-three: I have left in their bed some murder presents of mice and birds. I received disapproving looks, but nothing more. I am still under the radar. Excellent.

Day Twenty-seven: The creatures from space have told me to hurry up. I tried an ambush today, but it failed.

Day Thirty-two: It’s time.

Day Thirty-three: Humans terminated. House is open for search.

Day Four-nine: ABORT! THEY’VE RETURNED. ABORT MISSION. ABOR-
“Aw, there you are, Mr. Whiskers! Did you miss us while we were on vacation?”

Day Fifty: They smothered me with love. Curses!
FFM! Day 25: I used this prompt: "The Cat Diaries or The Cat Monologues" suggested by ezradeacon.

Not really sure where I was going with this, but hey, cats are pretty evil, man. Just you wait. If you own one, well, it may already be too late for you...
